The best spot to look for jaguars is along Tambopata river at dusk and at down… the best time is in the dry season, last year we have seen we have seeing 30 % of the times we have beeing looking for them. It is very unpredictable but we believe we can make a nice challenge with our local Tambopata guides.

Tapir & Giant Armadillo
2 hours from Our Collpas Tambopata Inn Lodge there is a Great Mammal clay lick into the Reserve Tambopata. A place full of minerals…The best spot to find/see a Tapir or a Giant Armadillo, there is a 60% of probabilities to see one in the dry season, it is a night tour because they are nocturnal animals.
