• After a good breakfast, we will make the journey back to Puerto Maldonado, boat and car, once we arrive in the city we will move to the main port and begin another cruise within the reserve, this time our destination is the famous and beautiful Sandoval Lake.
• This is an oxbow lake in Tambopata national reserve. After approximately 45 minutes by boat, we started a 3 km hike through the forest until you reach the shore of the Lake. Since starting our tour we will visit this beautiful body of water, the place is spectacular, many birds, very good opportunity to see a lots of monkeys of several species such as the red howler monkey, brown capuchin, squirrel monkey, dusky tity and saddle back tamarin.
• We install in our partner lodge, and return to the Lake to receive one of the most beautiful sunsets of the Amazon, we’ll stay until the evening on the Lake, because in the dark night you will be able to see the black Caiman is the largest of the rainforest crocodiles, reaching more than 5 m long, and they love the Lakes.
